Useful Information In BALI

a.Money Exchange

Most major countries, either banks notes or traveler's checks are easily converted into rupiah ( Indonesian currency).
Banks and money Changers can easily be found in the largest towns in Bali, but it is advisable to carry sufficient Rupiah (Rp.)

b.Telephone Service

Bali is linked via satellite to all major countries of the world. International calls can be made (via the operator or IDD-001/008) from any private/business or hotel telephone.

c.Immigration

Visitor coming to Bali by air from outside Indonesia must be in possession of passport that is valid for at least 6 months and have with them upon arrival either a return or onward ticket. Visitor's requirement to pay VoA (Visa on Arrival) to the bank, US$ 10 for seven days, and US$ 25 for thirty days. If you deny the agreement you must pay a fine of US$ 25. The government of Indonesia simplified the procedure for obtaining a visa for foreign travelers wishing to visit Bali.

The government has issued a new visa policy as follows:

1. Free Short Term Visa is valid for 11 countries and territories, namely:

Brunei Darussalam, Morocco, Chile, Philippines, Hong Kong, Peru, Macao, Singapore
Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam

A visa for nationals from these countries is delivered upon arrival free-of-charge.


2. Visa on Arrival is valid for 36 countries, namely:

Argentina, Finland, New Zea land, Luxembourg, Australia, France, Norway, Maldives,Austria, Germany, Oman, South Korea,Brazil, Hungry, Poland, Switzerland,Belgium, India, Portugal,Taiwan, Canada, Ireland, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, China, Italy, Russia, United State of America, Denmark, Japan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa,Egypt, Kuwait, Spain, United Kingdom.

Visa on arrival can be obtained for the payment of:
- US$ 10 for a 7 days visa
- US$ 25 for a 30 days visa


3. All other nationalities need to obtain a visa from the Indonesian Embassy in their country of permanent residence.

All visas are for a maximum stay of 30 days and are not extend able or renewable and non-convertible to any kind of other stay permit

Barong Dance :



Barong is probably the most well known dance. It is also another story telling dance, narrating the fight between good and evil. This dance is the classic example of Balinese way of acting out mythology, resulting in myth and history being blended into one reality.

Rice Tegallalng


Tegallalang is one of the famous tourism objects in Ubud that “must to visit”. Because it panorama is a unique place in the world and almost people come here will visiting the best of Rice terrace in this island.

Kintamani (Volcano)


Kintamani is the most favorite tourist destinations in Bali with the active volcano of mount Batur and beautiful lake. Kintamani is surrounded by the captivating nature and there are six ancient villages around cauldron of Batur Lake which is often conceived by Bali Age Village. The local people from these Bali Age villages own the unique cultures, houses and life style. Kintamani Area is consisted of some Villages those are Kedisan Village , Buahan, Abang, Trunyan, Songan, South Batur, Middle Batur, North Batur, Sukawana and Kintamani Village . The total of resident in these area are about 15 thousand who are mostly working as farmer, merchant, or work at industrial tourism.


Tirta Empul Temple


Tirta Empul Temple or Tampak Siring Temple is a holy spring water temple located in Tampak Siring Village, Gianyar regency and it is about 39 km eastwards from Denpasar town. It is set in the dale and encircled by the hill. In the west side of this temple, there is an Indonesian President palace which has been found by the first president. The name of Tirta Empul is loaded in a inscription which is kept at Sakenan Temple, Manukaya village, Sub district of Tampak Siring, about 3 km from Tirta Empul Temple.

Tanah Lot Temple --- Nice veiw when sunset



Tanah Lot Temple is located in coastal side of Beraban countryside, Kediri sub district and Tabanan Regency. It is situated in 30 Km in west side of Denpasar town and about 11 Km in south side of Tabanan town. The temple is built on the rock with 3 acre size and reachable in a few minute by walk, because it is just 20 meters from the coastal lip. This temple is very famous among tourist destinations in Bali with spectacular view of sunset.

Besakih



Besakih Temple is the biggest Hindu temple in Bali which the local people call Pura Besakih. It owns beautiful view from the top of temple area where we can see the wide nature panorama until to the ocean so that way this temple is many visited by tourists from all over the world. Besakih Temple is located in Besakih countryside, Rendang sub district, Karangasem regency, east part of the island. It is located in southwest side bevel of mount Agung, the biggest mounts in Bali. It is because pursuant to Agung Mount confidence is holiest and highest mount in Bali Island.

I'm here again

Finally,I'm here... Since a long time I didn't update and po d.
After start study at KDU, it was a busy life for me...everyweek need to pass up programming task and almost every two weeks need to pass up assignment and lab report ( one week 3 or 4 report ). But luckily I still have time for my darling, dear, and my Babe. But since May darling busy paktoh with ah boy and assignment,I'm busy for final exam and midterm exam we never meet each other after Shu Ying birthday. MISS YOU .......

I've just start my sem 2 for only 3 weeks, so still not that busy for report assignment and programming task ( jz need to pass up before august ).But Circuit theory short test coming soon on 19th July,althought 5 marks for that exam, i will still study hard for that ( not like Diploma jz cincin caicai ).

Next thursday I'm going to Genting and KL with Babe to celebrate his birthday lo...Happy happy... It's time for me to shopping and enjoy my 2 days holiday.

Now, everyone concern about WORLD CUP. Which team will go in final ? Which team will beome the Champoin. For me,I'll just pick my favourite team and watch. Advice to ppl who .... dun over limit ya....

BALI...here i come to you again.... I've plan my Bali trip after my Hatyai trip last year with Babe. We have compare all the tour package and hotel, finally we have comfirm the tour package and hotel to stay. November ,I'm going to BALI again....Anyone want souvenir drop me msg ya....if not I wont buy lo....hehe...Bali detail will po next post...Date will be comfirm after MATTA FAIR...
